Painting post

New developments on the painting today... sat there and got some work done, wandered around my neighborhood looking for a little cheap rug. I found a supermarket that reminded me of the one in Paris! It had a Nordstrom-like top two floors and Albertsons-like basement.

Again the colors in these pictures are really washed out, I wonder if I have my camera on the way wrong setting! I think that's it and I just thought of that... oh well! Tomorrow then I will have better photos.


Colors are washed out and blurry... I have the beginning of a red outline Klimt inspired (thanks Grandma!!!!) pine tree landscape running down to the bottom of the painting. Dark mint green turquoise with dark brown trunks, turquoise (like the figure's dress)... the turquoise of the dress is actually much much better in real life, I swear!


Top detail. (Again, the blue is really really beautiful in person! Not in the picture so much.)


Bottom... the glowing egg/ball/light whatever is soooo frustrating and always changing. Someday it will work. Hah
